Since MRP is not supported, I've created IGMP join and leave frames and verified them on Wireshark for validity, but despite enabling ip igmp snooping, both globally and for vlan 1, as well as including the fast-leave option, the IGMP leave has no effect. This happens even if I precede it with a join to register it (on the receiving host,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,--some documents say the "server" is supposed to "register," but this contradicts what I've read elsewhere!)
The default behavior is to flood, so I changed it to forward it to mrouter-port. Now I don't get any messages, even after a join! What's the missing needle in the haystack?
