'-m'  option should be used with multicast address. In addtion, you can bind it to specific device using '-b' parameter. Example

Server:

$mckey -m 234.5.6.7 -b 10.11.22.1

Client:

$mckey -m 234.5.6.7 -b 10.11.22.2 -s
