We don't support 4x10GbE cable on the ConnectX-3 adapter which has QSFP port. If you were to use the splitter cable on the 40GbE switch, you could use the 10GbE SFP+ end to connect to a ConnectX-3 EN card. (MCX313A)
The Splitter is supported on the 40GbE switches.
