I used the mellanox user manual to enable the TCP socket to get the time stamp according the steps explained in the section 3.1.10 Time-Stamping in the manual. The problem is that the from the Linux timestamping documentation, it supports only UDP socket receive timestamping, and doesn't support receive timestamping for TCP socket. Receive and transmit timestamp work well for UDP socket in my case, but TCP socket won't work for receive timestamping.
But I like to whether mellanox NIC, MT27500 Family [ConnectX-3] supports SOF_TIMESTAMP_TX_ACK timestamping at transmit ? Because I require this option to be enabled to do some calculations on it. From the ethtool, it support only, above mentioned options..
